Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust (VAHT) is a ‘not-for-profit’ Registered Social Landlord (RSL) and provides affordable housing for over 21,000 people living and working in Aylesbury and the surrounding villages of the Vale.
VAHT are one of the area’s leading local social housing providers. They own and are responsible for in excess of 7,500 homes, 16 supported housing schemes, 129 shared ownership properties and over 1,500 garages that are let to the public.
With a growing portfolio of properties that covers over 350 square miles of Aylesbury Vale, they aim to make a significant social and economic contribution to the communities within the Vale of Aylesbury.
Project description: Two semi-detached houses with GIA 70m2, to be built in the village of Edgcott in the Aylesbury Vale by the Toolshed, a Beattie Passive Flying Factory partner.
The Toolshed teaches and encourages young people to learn new skills and help them develop confidence, self-belief and to gain life skills. Beattie Passive has provided training for 5 young people at their Training Academy in Norfolk on a workshop-based training course. Following on from the workshop-based training, the trainees developed their skills on-site though erecting structures for Beattie Passive and have set-up their factory in order to deliver units for Vale of Aylesbury.
